A communal cocktail app. Ships with 100 starter recipes on purpose: members find and share new ones, snap pictures of their creations, and toast each other across the app. AI handles ingredient recognition, recipe matching, and personalized recommendations on top of a library that the community is growing together.
Why I Built It
Mixing cocktails is my favorite thing to do, and Home Bar Hero was one of my first sidequests as a builder. I wanted a single place to keep up with the recipes I love, generate new ones with AI, and help my friends grow their home bars. The communal piece was the part I cared about most. It ships with only 100 recipes on purpose so the library grows as members find and share new ones. The snap-and-share toast feature turned out to be my favorite part: it makes the app feel like a bar full of people you actually know. Available on the Apple App Store.
